Tim Mays
Owner / Operator
I have lived in the Toledo area my entire life. I joined Mavillino in 2016. My background includes many years of executive leadership roles in supply chain and information technologies. Prior to that, I worked as an Analytical Chemist.
These roles taught me the value of efficiency, precision, and having a keen eye to detail- all essential to meeting our customer and employee’s needs.
At Mavillino, my goal, and that of the entire team, is to bring the same commitment to every project, building homes that exceed our customer’s expectations.
Matt Maxwell
Owner / Operator
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio where I attended Penta County Vocational School for Carpentry. I have over 25 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry specializing in new construction homes, custom built homes, along with land development.
As a founding member of Mavillino Homes, incorporated in 2015, one of my core values is building a reputation of professionalism while having a commitment to precision, efficiency, and quality results on every project. I pride myself in building your home as it was my very own.

I joined Mavillino in 2015. I’ve held various office administrative roles over the years. I’ve enjoyed learninfg new skills and being apart of our client’s dream home coming to life. Outside work, I savor being outdoors and taking part of many outdoor activities including: hiking and gardening.

Born and raised in Rochester, New York, I moved to Ohio on a full scholarship for swimming at the University of Toledo.
My background is working in the paint industry for 10 years, where I cultivated my love for desgin. Being a working Mom of 4 has given me the time management and organizational skills that have helped me in my role. My goal is to make the building process smooth and enjoyable for our customers so they can sit back and watch their dreams come to life.
Combining my passion for the relationship building of sales, architecture, and design, I have found my home at Mavillino and am blessed to be able to work along side my family. I can’t wait to work with you on your dream homes.
Heather Mays
Marketing
My name is Heather Mays, and I am the Marketing Coordinator for Mavillino. I joined the team in 2022 and work directly with Matt Maxwell to head our Marketing Department. I graduated from the University of Toledo in 2001 with a BBA with a concentration in Marketing. I enjoy working for Mavillino and challanging myself in the various apects of my role. My goal is to share Mavillino’s vison and core beliefs with our customers and the public sucessfully.
Jackson Steltmann

I entered the world of construction and remodeling in 2017 due to several influential people in my life. After injury ended my my high level career in hockey. I’ve gained experience in the construction field that has led me to Constuction Management within Mavilllino. I have had a great sense of accomplishement in helping bring client’s vision to life. I am always looking forward to helping clients build their dream home.
Hasan Tokmak
Assistant Project Manager-Finish
My name is Hasan Tokmak. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey. After completing military service, I started building homes in 2000. I joined Mavillino in 2018 with experience in every facet of home construction. I enjoy using my skills to see our homes built from start to finish.
Tyler Faulkner
Operations Forman
I have Iived within the Toledo area my entire life and currently live in Michigan with my Fiance and five children. I have recently joined the Mavillino team in April of 2025. I have worked in the construction field for the past 17 years, including roofing, remodeling to now new construction of custom homes. I am enjoying working with Mavillino and getting to use my skills and experience to help build amazing homes and be a part of the process from start to finish.
Joe Gomez

My name is Joseph Gomez, I was born and raised on the East side of Toledo and graduated from Waite Highschool. I started taking carpentry classes my sophomore year of high school and found my passion. I joined Mavillino in 2022 and I work in finish carpentry. I enjoy working on the fine finish carpentry for our custom built homes. It makes me very happy to make customer’s dream homes come to life.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, I developed a passion for building at a young age. I began my career in construction as a sophomore at Penta County Vocational School, where I was able to complete the program ahead of schedule. This allowed me to participate in the school’s work program during my senior year, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Since 2023, I have also had the privilege of working with the Mavillino Team, further expanding my skills and expertise in the industry.
